Sany has launched the
first two models of its newly developed telehandler series especially for the
European market - the STH1440 and STH1840.

The new telehandlers are equipped with a comprehensive safety
package as standard. This includes a low boom for maximum forward visibility, a
rear-view camera and a load management system.

The German-designed cab has an intuitive touchscreen display
with encoder control for on-screen navigation.

The STH1440 and STH1840 telehandlers are powered by a
high-torque engine which does not require exhaust gas after-treatment or
expensive AdBlue additives. The Dana transmission and the axles are matched to
ensure a maximum of power and efficiency.

All maintenance work can also be carried out quickly and safely
from the ground: the filters for engine oil, hydraulic oil, and fuel are
centrally located, the air filter is easily accessible from the engine
compartment, and the battery can be reached via a fold-up step under the
cab.

The models come with flexible steering modes – two-wheel,
four-wheel and crab steering.

The new telehandlers will make their first appearance in Europe
at this year’s bauma in Munich from 24 October.
