Narrow Aisle's global turnover reached a record ￡31.6 million ($38.4 million) in the financial year ending December 2022, the highest in its history.

The maker of the Flexi truck range recorded growth of ￡6.1 million ($7.4 million) in 2019, when the company was taken over by members of its senior management team.

"Our employees delivered another outstanding performance," said Narrow Aisle Chairman Jim Porter.

"We are seeing positive results from our long-term strategic focus of continuing to grow our market share and developing key overseas markets, such as India and the Americas."

Porter attributes some of the growth to new distribution agreements with material handling equipment suppliers and rental businesses in Dallas and Houston.

"Despite the uncertainty in the global economy caused by events no one could have foreseen, we have taken a long-term view and invested strategically in our business while remaining flexible and adaptable, making excellent progress toward our various goals since 2019."
