Buffalo Lift Trucks appointed Snorkel dealer

Buffalo Lift Trucks, a multiline forklift dealer in the Western New York area, has been appointed a dealer for Snorkel Equipment.

The dealership, which was established in 1985, already sells Clark, Linde (Kion), Genie, Load Lifter, PowerBoss, Blue Giant, Cascade, Rightline and GNB forklift brands.

Buffalo Lift Trucks sales department director Paul Notaro says the company’s service area covers the 10-county Western New York area.

We are looking to expand our staffing, which currently is at 17 full-time employees, along with the future plans of an additional location,” Yohannes says.

Dexory secures funding for expansion

Warehouse robot maker Dexory has secured USD19 million to fund an expansion into the United States and central and northern Europe, which will double the company’s workforce by the end of this year.

The cash injection from European venture capital firm Atomico, Lakestar, Kindred, Capnamic and Maersk Growth, will also help Dexory ramp up production of its automated robots in the United Kingdom.

Dexory’s digital platform, DexoryView, which is already being used by Maersk and Menzies Aviation, can perform a full warehouse scan in just a matter of hours, around 100 times faster than humans.

Dexory chief executive officer and co-founder Andrei Danescu says: “Technology that is autonomous, real-time, intuitive and integrated can have a transformative effect on the everyday efficiency, productivity and accuracy of a warehouse - and form an integral part of revamping businesses supply chain strategies”.

Ausa equipment will be available at Yuasa's 11 sales offices in Japan

Construction machinery maker Yuasa has been named the official dealer of Ausa industrial vehicles, including compact rough terrain forklifts and telehandlers.

The Spanish compact equipment maker said the partnership was part of its international expansion plan.

Ausa country manager Alberto Ortega says: “We are very pleased to be joining Yuasa, a company founded in 1666 and with an unparalleled knowledge of the industrial sector.

This project will allow us to offer our dumpers, rough terrain forklifts and telehandlers, guaranteeing the best technical service and after-sales support through Yuasa’s 11 sales offices all over the country.”

Yuasa executive officer Yoshio Sugimoto says: "Yuasa is proud to add AUSA's products to our portfolio and offer our customers in Japan a wider range of solutions for their needs."
