3t L Series Diesel Forklift to Australia
Author:Iris   Post Time:2023-5-31   Hits:1626

2 units 3t diesel forklift will be shipped to Australia. The customer added two alternative attachments to the forklift trucks. There were side shifter forklift and fork Positioners. Therefore, customer can make an adjustment of width of a forklift fork.

And do you know how to adjust the width of forks on forklift?

Determine the best setting for your forklift's forks. If possible, it is best to set the forks at an equal distance from the center of the forklift - this will help you maintain a proper center of gravity. With each off-center adjustment, the center of gravity will change. Combined with a heavy or high load, this can lead to dangerous situations, especially around corners.

Raise the forks to a height of approximately 30 inches. Set the brakes on the machine and stand next to or between the forks. There is a clamp behind the upper lip of each fork. Raise the clamp to a vertical position. It should lock in this position, but this area is often covered with grease and dirt, which may prevent it from locking. If this is the case, keep the clip in an upright position. Wear gloves when working in this area to protect your hands from grease and several pinch points; thick leather gloves are best.

Lift the fork slightly. The fork will rest in a small notch in the cross member; push the fork out of the notch so that it slides along the top of the cross member. If the forks are rarely adjusted, they may be very difficult to move. If so, move to the end of the fork and disengage it by moving it from one side to the other. Slide the fork to the desired position on the cross member.

Move the fork slightly until it falls into the notch closest to the desired distance. Do not operate the machine when the fork is not secured in the notch position. Once the fork is properly positioned, place the clamp back into the locking setting. Try to move the fork. If it moves, it is not properly set in the notch; make further adjustments as needed. Repeat the process for the second fork.

Forklifts can handle thousands of pounds and come in all sizes and types. While they can accommodate any number of lifting attachments, their primary tool is the forks; these heavy metal forks can handle huge weights and are fully adjustable to accommodate many different loads.
