Thompson Lift Truck will donate the rental
profit of a bright pink Hyundai forklift to breast cancer research.
"We wanted to do something that would
not only raise funds for breast cancer research but also raise awareness and
inspire others to join us in this effort," says Lucy Thompson Marsh,
president and chief executive of the central Tennessee Hyundai forklift
dealership.
"Our pink forklift stands out in any
industrial setting and it's a reminder that we can all make a difference in the
fight against breast cancer."
Thompson Lift Truck is a certified Women's
Business Enterprise, which means it’s at least 51% owned, controlled, operated
and managed by a woman or women.
The profit revenue the pink forklift
generates until the end of this year will be donated to the Breast Cancer
Research Foundation through the Thompson Foundation, the charitable arm of
Thompson Lift Truck.
Thompson Lift Truck is the material
handling division of Thompson Tractor, which was founded in 1957 by Hall W.
